I am so many things to so many people, a mom, a wife, and friend. I work very hard to not let all of those things overshadow the artist inside of me but truthfully, I wish I had more time to dedicate to what I am so passionate about. I have found a love for sharing my art with others which is why I have created this website as a portfolio of my work.

I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. I love using acrylics for abstract painting, pencil and pen and ink for photo realistic drawing, wood burning, and lettering with chalk and paints. I am always looking for new ways to dig into my creativity by working with new mediums and playing with new techniques.

Most of my work you will find is inspired by nature. I love the outdoors and really love finding ways to incorporate it into my art. I also love getting inspired by other artists and finding new techniques to play with. I want to constantly be challenged to grow and find that surrounding myself with other creative people helps me to do that.
